Break week March 8-12; conference week March 22-26

Spring break is March 8-12. This corresponds with SFPS’s Spring break. There are no lessons or groups that week.

If your particular school has a different break week and are away for a week other than March 8-12, we can be very accommodating regarding a rescheduled lesson, provided we are given reasonable advance notice. Please do not call a few days before you are traveling and missing a lesson (or on the day of the missed lesson!) and expect a make-up lesson!

Parent-teacher conference week is March 22-26. All Suzuki students will have a conference this week instead of a private lesson. Groups WILL take place. Please talk to your private teacher if you would like your conference to take place at a time different from your regular lesson time. You may even reschedule your conference for a different week if your teacher can do it!

Tour Group in concert

SFTE’s Violin Tour Group has been selected to perform on the SF Youth Symphony’s annual Spotlight on Youth concert, this Saturday, February 27 at 7 pm at the Scottish Rite Center. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 5- 12 and free for children under 5. Tickets are available at the door or by calling the SF Youth Symphony, 982-8483.

Our group will be performing Fritz Kreisler’s “Tempo di Minuetto”.

The annual SFTE Mastery Concert will take place on Sunday, February 21 at 2:30 pm, at the United Church of Santa Fe. This concert is free and open to the public.

Dress rehearsal will take place on Saturday, February 20 at 2:30 pm, United Church.

Ladies: Nice dressy black pants or skirt (or very dark blue)

Button down shirt any solid color or dressy blouse any solid color
