Suzuki violin, viola and cello in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Margaret Carpenter and Rick Lohmann,co-directors

Guide to Giving

SFTE INC is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt educational institution, registered in the State of New Mexico. All charitable contributions are fully tax deductible by law.

How your contribution can help

Santa Fe Talent Education believes that all children can develop ability in music to a high level through the “mother tongue” approach of Dr. Suzuki. This approach must be available to all children regardless of economic status.

To achieve that end, our annual fund drive provides

  • Financial aid to students who cannot otherwise afford private lessons
  • much-needed funds for instruments, supplies, rent and office equipment Our greatest needs currently are recording equipment and a faculty viola!
  • Continuing education for faculty
  • Funding for new programs

In-kind contributions are greatly appreciated, as are donations of needed equipment and instruments.

We are currently developing plans for an endowment fund, which will ensure our long-term success. Look for an announcement later in 2008.  Contact Rick Lohmann at (505) 231-9242 for more information.
